The following presentations were given at the 2009 Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity Awards Symposium on September 29, 2009. The symposium showcased undergraduate student research in varying fields at Florida State University. All of the students received research funding through the Office of National Fellowships and the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors to conduct 12 weeks of research under the direction of a faculty mentor during the summer of 2009. Many of these students plan to continue their studies at graduate institutions in pursuit of master’s and doctoral degrees.
